federal, state and local governments, colleges and universities, school districts, non-profit entities, and utility cooperatives.  He has tried hundreds of cases to judges and juries in federal and state courts.  He has represented clients before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.  He has appeared before numerous courts of appeal.  He has experience arbitrating and mediating employment disputes.  He has collected millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients.

Stephen has held the “AV” rating for legal ability and legal ethics since 2000.  This rating is the highest rating obtainable through Martindale-Hubble (a well-respected source of information about lawyers worldwide for many decades) and comes from extensive peer-review.

With very few exceptions, Stephen limits his practice to Benton and Washington Counties.

Stephen Lee Wood graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville School of Law with a Juris Doctorate, with honors, in 1981.  He has practiced law continuously in Rogers, Arkansas, since 1981.

Wood graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in Management.  She has over 30 years’ experience working in law offices, banks, and trust companies.  She was formerly a trust officer with Arvest Trust Company and managed client portfolios totaling over $100 million in assets.  She has extensive knowledge of estate planning, trusts, and the probate process.
